Crypto Return Policies

How Return Policies Work

A return policy defines a wallet address for a specific combination of:

• Blockchain network (e.g., Polygon, Ethereum, Solana)
• Currency (e.g., USDC, USDT, EURC)

When a payment needs to be returned, we look up the appropriate return policy and sends the funds to the configured wallet address.

Common Use Cases

Failed Payment Returns

When a crypto payment cannot be delivered to the recipient (invalid address, network issues, etc.), the funds are returned to your specified wallet.

Multi-Currency Operations

Different currencies may require different handling. Set up separate return policies for USDC, USDT, and EURC to ensure proper accounting and compliance.

Cross-Chain Operations

Operating across multiple chains (Polygon, Ethereum, Solana) Configure return addresses for each chain to match your operational setup.

Configuring Return Policies

Return policies can be managed from the Settings page under "Crypto Return Policies"

Policy Requirements

Each return policy requires:

• Chain: The blockchain network (Polygon, Base, Ethereum, Solana, Tron)
• Currency: The cryptocurrency (USDC, USDT, EURC)
• Return Wallet Address: Valid wallet address for that chain

Validation

• Only one policy per chain/currency combination
• Wallet addresses are validated for format
• Policies can be updated or deleted at any time

What Happens Without a Return Policy

If a payment needs to be returned and no matching return policy exists:

• Payment enters a manual review state
• Support team is notified
• Manual intervention required to process the return

Best practice: Configure return policies for all chain/currency combinations you use to ensure smooth operations.

View and manage all your return policies in one place

Creating Policies

1. Navigate to Settings → Crypto Return Policies
2. Click "Add Return Policy"
3. Select chain and currency
4. Enter return wallet address
5. Save

Updating Policies

Edit existing policies to update wallet addresses as your operational setup changes. The updated address applies to all future returns.

Deleting Policies

Remove policies you no longer need. Ensure you have an alternative plan for handling returns on that chain/currency combination.

Getting Started

Return policies are available for all teams. To set up your first return policy:

1. Go to Settings in your dashboard
2. Click the Crypto Return Policies tab
3. Add policies for each chain/currency combination you use
